Hangi's to U is a professional catering business based in Brisbane, Australia. 

We moved to Brisbane from ‘windy’ Wellington, New Zealand in December 1980.  Our experience with food preparation originally started from catering for large family gatherings for Christmas, Weddings, Birthdays and any excuse to have a party.  Our family traditionally would cook a Hangi in the ground in baskets with heated stones – delicious! 

The slightly smoked, earthy style of Hangi cuisine has previously only been achieved when prepared traditionally in the ground.  Our business officially started in Brisbane in February 2000 and we are fully licensed with the Health Department.  With our unique cooking concept we have been able to reproduce the traditional taste of New Zealand's Hangi for Australian consumers.

All food preparation is carried out in our self-contained Mobile kitchen and is cooked fresh on-site, in a specially manufactured oven.  Food is separated into 3 large stainless steel baskets and cooked while you and your guests relax. 

We supply all of the equipment you will need for your function, including Serving tables, Table covers, disposable plates, disposable cutlery and serviettes.  Designer placemats and Table décor Accessories complete the finishing touches to the table settings.

Food is presented in beautiful Baine-Marie dishes to keep food hot for the duration of your function. Even the heartiest of appetites will be satisfied, with our serve yourself, All-You-Can-Eat Buffet Style.

A family owned catering business, we pride ourselves in working with you to help you plan your event to be a total success.  Our aim is to maintain a personal and professional approach.  The majority of our on-going business comes from customer recommendations, so every function is extremely important to us.
