"Thank you once again for yet another wonderful Hangi banquet.  Our visitors from NZ thoroughly enjoyed it, as well as our Aussie friends who had never had the chance to try Hangi before.   Now the word has spread however to the rest of the family back home, we have been told that we have to organise "Hangi's To U" to cater for us again when more of the family come to visit us in Brisbane.

Gordon, an Airline pilot spoke to us about catering for his 60th Birthday.  He was sceptical and could not quite understand the cooking concept, so we prepared him lunch at our place.  He sat down, his first comment was, "It smells like a hangi".  He then took 2 mouthfuls of food and said, "How do I book!".  His family travelled from Perth, Melbourne and New Zealand for the function.  We received a card after the event, which reads: 

"Many thanks for your splendid efforts last Sunday. EVERYONE was very impressed. I do hope you get some business from the people present. If you want a reference at anytime, please give our name & home number as we would be only too happy to do this for you. We are busy thinking what else we can do to have you back again, but alas none of the girls are thinking of marriage just yet!"     -      Thanks again Diana & Gordon Bradley   

In April 2007 at Sunnybank Hills, we catered for 40 Japanese visitors who flew in to Brisbane for the weekend to play a Board Game ‘GO’.  We were just a little nervous and thought how would they react to our food, being so different from their local cuisine.  It was interesting to see that even though it is 'typical’ of their culinary habits to only place small amounts of food on their plates, that they then returned to the table three and four times for more!         -         Organised by Greg  

Murray Plunket tasted our food after he had organised us to cater for his 60th Birthday, that was 4 years ago, since then we have returned to his residence three times. His family and guests have all tried our food and each time we go back to Murray’s place they can hardly wait for the Baine-marie lids to be ‘lifted’.       -       Thanks Murray
